In several regions of India, the highly contagious H3N2 influenza virus spreads quickly and produces flu-like symptoms that can last up to two weeks. The outbreak's primary cause is the abrupt change in weather conditions from cold to hot. Cough, temperature, chills, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, diarrhea, runny nose and persistent sneezing are typical symptoms, with severe cases also exhibiting chest pain, swallowing difficulties, and extended fever. The Ministry of Health has issued guidelines on how to prevent the virus from spreading, which will be discussed below.

A variant of influenza is H3N2. a pathogen that is known to make people sick. Particularly during the flu season, this virus is very contagious and can spread rapidly from one person to another. Public health authorities have been alarmed by H3N2 virus outbreaks that have occurred in recent years.

When an infected individual speaks, coughs, or sneezes, the virus is transmitted through respiratory droplets. It can also spread if someone touches their lips, nose, or eyes after touching a surface that has the virus on it.

It's crucial to practice good hygiene to stop the H3N2 virus from spreading, including frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with an elbow or tissue, avoiding close contact with sick people, and remaining in when having flu-like symptoms.

Although H3N2 is a serious virus, there are precautions people can take to avoid getting ill and infecting others. It's crucial to get checked out if you think you might have the flu and to adhere to your healthcare provider's advice for therapy and care.
